Google Body Browser

Though it’s hardly Gray’s Anatomy, Google’s Body Browser does provide a useful quick reference tool for the body, whilst showcasing some interesting web technologies. You can search and hi-light the human anatomy instantly, fade in/out various systems and orbit your way around the smooth WebGL view. The level of detail is a bit on the simple side at the minute, but it’s a project that could easily grow in density and become a great tool for doctors and patients. Where I can really see this being useful though is in an embedded format on the web, alongside medical information about injuries etc. Google Body Browser.
