


After it has grown (which it does so incredibly quickly) the bamboo is cured to form a wood which is strong, durable and very light. This creates a scaffolding material that is cheaper, lighter, more flexible and takes less time to erect and dismantle than steel scaffolding. Looks dodgy? If maintained and erected properly, it’s just as safe as any other scaffolding and lets just say I’d take bamboo over a 6 meter high steel tower with two scaffold boards any day but at the same time wouldn’t change it for the world:
